About The Event
SATURDAY 26th October:
· 10am/12pm - SCREEN 2 - How Animation Is Born: a talk to unveil the secrets of animated films - interactive workshop for kids.
Bafta-nominated Director Simone Giampaolo will show the audience (KIDS AND PARENTS) the steps behind the creation of an animated movie, from initial sketches to the final result! We suggest age +7 (year 3).
· 12:15pm/1:30pm - SCREEN 2 - Screening selection of Short Films (Titles TBC)
· 2pm/3pm - PITCHING COMPETITION! Pitch your short film in 4 minutes and get the opportunity to win a PRICE worth more than £1000 (A year of free attendance at The Shorts Nights at The Chiswick Cinema, 1year membership with Female Film Club, half day shooting at The American University of Richmond with the technical support of the experts and more exciting prizes to be revealed on the day!)
