Festival
Patronage
The festival is proud to be held under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in London, with the support of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the UK.
The Istituto Italiano di Cultura in London is the official body that promotes Italian culture in the United Kingdom, from cinema and literature to music, art and language. Its patronage is a mark of cultural recognition, and we are honoured to carry it.
We’re also glad to have the support of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the UK, which has long championed the ties between Italian and British business, culture and creative industries. Its backing reflects the same spirit of connection that drives the festival itself.
It is a natural fit. The West London Film Festival has always had a soft spot for Italian cinema, and for the kind of international filmmaking that crosses borders and finds an audience far from where it was made.
Together, this patronage and support reflect a shared belief: that film is one of the best ways for cultures to meet, and that small, independent festivals have a real part to play in that.
